What you will be doing

Ecorys has a long track record of assisting the European Commission in public policy communications. 

We provide a variety of digital communications services for our clients, ranging from strategic campaigns, to email marketing, social media organic and paid content, online advertising, influencer marketing, and web content. 

Our work covers a wide range of EU policies including energy and environment, agriculture, education and training, employment and social affairs, civil society, consumers, entrepreneurship industrial innovation and SMEs.

We are now looking for a Senior Digital Communications Manager to support the growth of the Team. This would be the ideal position for an experienced consultant looking for their next challenge

The Senior Digital Communications Manager will work as part of a wider team of communications, policy, and research staff across Ecorys offices, and be responsible for the following: 

• Lead and develop a high-performing team for successful project delivery.
• Implement agile principles to ensure quality workplan execution and risk management.
• Act as the primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Lead contract strategy and adapt projects in collaboration with directors.
• Oversee project teams to ensure high-quality results aligning with client expectations.
• Seek and implement best practices for efficiency and innovation.
• Monitor contract budgets for efficiency, added value, and financial integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and sub-contractors to ensure timely and high-quality project inputs.

What we will need from you

Essential

• University degree or equivalent, preferably in fields like Digital Communications, Marketing/Communications, Advertising, or Journalism, with exceptional written skills in English.
• Demonstrated expertise in the digital landscape, including knowledge of digital communications tools and best practices 
• Proven experience in digital marketing and proficiency with analytical tools.
• Experience in staff management and the ability to lead and develop teams.
• Excellent coordination and organizational abilities, including attention to detail and the capacity to handle substantial information.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• A good grasp of public policy and practices, coupled with financial management skills.

Desirable

• Other European languages are considered an asset
