Junior Digital Communications Consultant Croatia (full-time)

We provide a variety of digital communications services for our clients, ranging from strategic campaigns, to email marketing, social media organic and paid content, online advertising, influencer marketing, and web content.
Our work covers a wide range of EU policies including energy and environment, agriculture, education and training, employment and social affairs, civil society, consumers, entrepreneurship industrial innovation and SMEs.

We are currently looking for a high-calibre colleague to support our digital communications team in delivering these activities.
This post will play an important role in the Digital Communications Team, working on contracts across the Ecorys group. Working with internal and external clients, they will be expected to manage social media and digital communication campaigns for a range of high-profile clients.
The post holder will be experienced with communication campaigns and have an excellent understanding of digital and social media tools.
The role will be based in Zagreb and will be part of a team reporting to the Digital & Communications Director.

Responsibilities
The junior communications consultant will work and be responsible for the following:
  • Provide efficient day-to-day support for the delivery of existing and new communication assignments, this will involve:
    • Contribute to developing and implementing digital communication campaigns, social media strategies, production and distribution of high quality, engaging social media content (including community management).
    • Keep on top of new and innovative ways to present digital content and maintain an awareness of platforms and tools popular with clients.
    • They will be liaising with other in-house teams as well as partners, external experts, and providers (e.g., writers, photographers, printers, designers and production staff) and contribute to all stages of the production process and project cycle.
  • Writing, proof-reading, and editing digital content including social media posts, adverts, newsletters, online content, e-mail messages and other necessary documents;
  • Setting up and administering social media and online advertising accounts and campaigns, including testing, monitoring, optimization and performance reporting.
  • Collaborating with staff from across Ecorys' Operating Companies, partners and subcontractors that provide expertise and resources.
Profile
Essential
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience;
  • C2 level of English (written and spoken);
  • Experience in using digital tools and social media channels to reach and engage with online audiences, through both organic posting and paid advertising; 
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the capacity to summarise and communicate about complex matters in a clear, precise, and simple way;
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills; ability to work on multiple projects at once:
  • Resilience and flexibility;
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team; demonstrating excellent co-ordination and organisational skills, including the ability to assimilate large amounts of information;
  • Dedication to delivery of a quality service in all aspects of project delivery and support;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Computer literacy - knowledge of MS Office - WORD, EXCEL, and thorough practical knowledge of a wide range of social media networks; Understanding of the digital landscape and relevant technological advances;
  • Interest in working in field of project management and communications;
