As a Senior Research Manager you can expect to:

  • Provide highly skilled research and evaluation expertise in one or more of our core policy areas

  • Work with a range of UK policy clients, with the opportunity to apply your skills across European or international work
  • Utilise core technical research skills to design and oversee policy evaluations, using research designs appropriate to the intervention. This will involve a variety of primary, secondary, quantitative research methods
  • Develop, design, and explain research and evaluation methodologies and types of analysis, justify conclusions, and present the results to the target audience in a range of ways
  • Collect, analyse, interpret, and present complex qualitative and quantitative data
  • Contribute to expanding our work, leading proposals for new work, and helping to grow the company's portfolio of international projects and network of experts.

What we will need from you:

  • Experience in the development and delivery of evaluation or research in UK public policy
  • Good commercial awareness, with experience in winning new projects or research
  • Capability in stakeholder management and building and maintaining client relationships
  • Experience of managing multidisciplinary and multicultural research teams (including academic and specialist partners).
  • An excellent level of written English and strong presentation skills are essential.
