Our core services include policy and economic studies, impact assessments, and evaluations, all delivered in line with the European Commission’s Better Regulation Guidelines. - Manage and deliver high-profile, complex research projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate teams of internal researchers, external experts, and partners, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Lead and contribute to the drafting of winning proposals, especially under our EU framework contracts on health.
- Engage actively in business development, identifying new opportunities and developing client relationships across EU institutions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of robust, mixed-method research methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Deliver high-quality reports and present findings to senior stakeholders, including clients at the European level.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with:
- At least 5 years of experience delivering EU health policy studies, evaluations or impact assessments, preferably in a consultancy or EU institutional environment.
- Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering multi-country or complex EU-funded assignments.
- Excellent methodological knowledge of evaluation and impact assessment, including familiarity with the European Commission’s Better Regulation Guidelines.
- Applied research experience, ideally including both qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g. desk research, stakeholder consultations, survey design, statistical analysis).
- Strong business development skills, including experience in tender writing and working within framework contracts.
- Experience managing teams and collaborating with external partners, including academia, civil society, and industry stakeholders.
- A Master’s degree (or higher).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch and other EU languages are a plus.
- A proactive mindset, team spirit, and genuine interest in EU public health policy.
Our offer
Ecorys offers:
- A dynamic, international working environment with highly motivated colleagues.
- The chance to work on impactful, high-profile EU projects that make a difference.
- A high degree of flexibility and autonomy, including hybrid working arrangements.
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
- An excellent and flexible pension scheme.
- 30 days of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell additional days.
- The opportunity to become a shareholder in our employee-owned company.
- Ongoing opportunities for professional development and career growth.
At Ecorys, you will join a diverse and talented team of professionals who are passionate about their work and committed to delivering excellence. We foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, where your ideas and contributions will be valued.
